Public Policy Media Ltd
I am an engaging, knowledgeable and experienced speaker on the NHS,
local government and public service reform. As a well-known commentator
in the field I speak at both public and private sector events, presenting a
blend of big picture policy overview, discussion of current developments
and political issues and an exploration of the links between policy and
practice, all illuminated with insights, analysis, stories and anecdotes.
I am a highly practised chair of conferences and summits of all sizes, from
audiences of a few dozen to 1,300. For example, I chaired the Electoral
Commission’s International Observers Programme for the EU referendum
and 2015 general election. I bring pace and energy to the occasion, and use
my knowledge and insights to bring out the best in the speakers and involve
the audience in lively debate.
Before a session I welcome and brief the speakers to engage and motivate
them, help them settle, and ensure they have an enjoyable and successful
